PARENTS, KIDS & TEENS
Lydia Cronin, mother
I am so grateful for this evening. It created a bonding with my son I never expected. For a while he had been shutting me out; but we shared a wonderful time together that night, and afterwards he opened up his world to me. What a great experience it was for both of us! It’s one of the greatest gifts a parent could give his or her child… It’s something we both will never forget.
Kevin Cronin, age 14
It was by far one of the most enlightening things I’ve ever done. It really exposed what I could do as a person, the possibilities I have, and my potential. When things get tough and I want to quit the team or a subject feels too hard I think back to the seminar and I get inspired. I received real gifts of love and encouragement there!

I want to thank you so much for everything. I do admit that at first when my mom told me about it I thought it was going to be some dumb boring thing that my mom does, but when I got to your house and you guys started talking about everything I really got into it and I started to understand more about the power of the mind. And I was wrong, it wasn’t some dumb boring thing, it was exciting and at the same time a little scary. But after doing all the things, I really do believe that now I can do anything.
Since I went, the week after I was doing a lot better in school, I started passing all of my tests and all the things you guys taught me helped me through a really hard time when my grandfather passed away. It was an awesome experience for me, and I think that if any kid has a chance to take part in this wonderful event they should take that chance because I know that I would do it again and again. I just want you to know that every time I am trying to get through some thing and I am about to give up, I just think back and remember what I did, and that I can do anything, and I just keep on pushing it and I do what I was doing. Thank you so much for everything. I keep you guys in my mind and heart always!

About two weeks ago my mother informs me that I, along with the rest of the family, will be attending a workshop. I stare at her with a blank face. I could not believe that she was dragging me to yet another one of her unusual and unappealing (at least in my previous opinion) events, and on a Saturday night! I was bitter for the entire car ride and the first few minutes upon our arrival.
To my great surprise my anxiety and ill-will faded after only a few minutes. The leaders had such an easy-going and positive attitude that the audience could not help but join in their excitement. Over the course of the evening I did things I could barely believe. Watching my family members complete some of these seemingly un-doable acts was as rewarding as doing them myself, if not more.
As much as I hate to admit it, my mom did an amazing thing for my family and me. We for once let go in front of each other and came together as a family. We were no longer completely independent and separate forms (as we have always seen ourselves as) but a family, a whole, a unit. I highly recommend taking this course no matter how many doubts or reservations you may have. It will empower you as a human being and give you a greater sense of self and how much you can really achieve.

Throughout the years my wife and I have done everything we can to make sure our children do not give up their personal power, despite ongoing cultural and social pressures. We have tried to help them see that true personal power is the natural result of a compassionate, caring, trusting, loving, and powerful stance towards all of life.
My wife took the whole family to their workshop on our daughter’s 16th birthday. Well, I can tell you that I will never have to remind my kids of their power. Thank you… I hope more and more families get to do this!

I first came to Living Without Limits more than a year ago, and it was great!!! Months later I returned with my son Alex, who was nine. My son is a great kid and also a shy kid, especially in front of strangers and groups of people.
Well, for some reason he was not shy the evening of the workshop. As a matter of fact, he was very outgoing, volunteering to try everything and speaking to the group about it afterwards. I noticed since then that his level of confidence is much higher and he is open to try almost anything.
The third time I attended, I brought both Alex and my 13-year-old daughter to the workshop. It was a great experience for all of us, and united us as a family even more than we had been. At the end of the evening my daughter announced to the group, “I’m overwhelmed with courage!”
A distinction we learned, and since use a lot in our daily language is, “where your attention goes, your power goes.” I highly recommend this experience to all ages.

Hi. My name is Alex Tepper. The first time I went I was 9. It really encouraged me to do a lot of things that I couldn’t do before. When I went to the workshop I learned that where my attention goes my power goes, now I use that in school to help me pay attention. That was a very great place to be, so great I did it a second time when I was 11. Once again my name is Alex Tepper and I hope you go too one day. Sincerely, Alex Tepper

Living Without Limits was very empowering for Andre. It enabled him to experience in a physical way that there truly is mind over matter. A lot of things that are taught by motivational speakers are just words — you don’t necessarily experience their truth. But this evening gives proof. You actually prove it to yourself.
Andre Mock, age 13
I didn ’t think I could do the things I did that night. It was a very empowering experience! Really neat. I liked the environment, it was very friendly. You guys explained it very well. You were great! I feel more confident since then, like I can do more.

I can’t recommend this too highly! The experience was important for my son and I individually and for our shared relationship. Now, when we reach an impasse, one of us will say something like “we did that together, we can handle this” and it really shifts the energy!

I had to see this with my own eyes. It was awesome! I experienced how using my fears constructively helps me achieve my goals. It also helped me set my educational priorities higher. I definitely feel more confidence.

I am a triathlete. My aunt took me to the Walk on Fire Seminar in Coconut Grove and I had such a great experience. After that I really started to believe in my own power.
After the fire walk, in one of the races, I had to swim 1/4 mile, ride my bike 6 miles and run 1.5 miles. All of a sudden, in the middle of the competition, I felt very tired and afraid of not being able to make it. Living Without Limits came to my mind and I remembered that I could do anything. The combination of that thought with the feeling that I had when I was there helped me to complete the race, in spite of the tiredness and doubts about my capability of completing it.
It turned out that I won the First Prize in my age category in that race. I thanked my experience of walking on fire. It stayed with me. It helped me transcend my fears. It helped me win the competition. Thank you for this blessing. I hope other people will have wonderful experiences after that night, as I did.

It was a joyful evening to share with my 16-year-old daughter; she think’s I’m “really cool” for doing this with her! It was so much fun to experience such an adventure together, to be on common ground, and to see her so happy and proud of what she accomplished.

My wife and I attended the evening with my son when he was six. It made a lasting and memorable impression on my son — which he still talks about to this day, a year and a half later. Of greatest importance, it gave us as parents an anchoring and centering event in his life which we can always refer back to. Whenever my son has difficulties, be it falling and skinning his knee or problems in school — we always refer back to the theme of the course in order for him to center himself: “Where my attention goes, my power goes.”

The Living Without Limits evening was a great experience for both myself and my son! My son was as “high as a kite” for weeks afterward!

My daughter Shaayna was 8 years old when she first attended Living Without Limits. Following that night, I saw her self-esteem and confidence increase tenfold. She became far more outgoing, and in the last three years she’s gone back several times because she loves it so much. The night is about personal choice, taking responsibility, and opening to new possibilities. She’s released so many of her limiting fears!
Shaayna Slotkhin, age 11
It was really inspirational. It made me feel courageous. It helps you make your own decisions and trust your inner guidance.
Kaayla Slotkhin, mother
I’m delighted that Shaayna attended this unique workshop. It’s so exciting for a child to explore the important areas presented in Living Without Limits, as Shaayna has done many times now.

I would recommend Living Without Limits to anyone! You realize from the workshop that some things you build up to be big problems are really no big deal, and you don’t have to be limited by your thoughts and fears.

I had a great time and can’t wait to go back! It has taught me a lot about trying new things and exceeding my limits. My language arts teacher once told me to think outside the box, and I had not listened to her until I was presented to the acts and words of tat night. Well, now I have performed outside the box and thought outside the box. I highly recommend this for all ages whether you want to think and act outside the box, or just for a great, exciting experience. I believe this is all I can share for now and must leave the rest as a suprise. So please try it out and see for yourself and I am sure that after you try it, you will write a good note, so all I can say is go get her!

All the wonderful things that we did that night changed my life and my relationship with my 14 year old daughter and my sister. We bonded in sisterhood in such a way that no one will ever be able to break such a beautiful bond. My daughter has grown as an individual and is leaping into opportunities and over coming obstacles in a responsible way. She earned it herself with your guidance. Thank you so much for the dedication you put into this!
